What is chiikawa? Who is chiikawa?
Chiikawa (ちいかわ) is a Japanese character series created by the illustrator Nagano. It began as a short, panel-style manga on Twitter/X and has since grown into a hit franchise with an anime, books, and tons of merchandise. The title comes from “Nanka Chiisakute Kawaii Yatsu,” which roughly means “something small and cute.”
There are three main characters of this animation series: Chiikawa, Hachiware and Usagi. They are best friends.
Chiikawa (they/them) is character that I am going to do motivational analysis. Chiikawa is gentle, sweet, and kind—shy and cautious about leaving their comfort zone. They often get nervous and tear up, but their best friends, Hachiware and Usagi, are always there to support this tiny, adorable creature. The pronounces of all characters in this animation are them/they, because the author wanted to focus on their actions rather than their gender.

For more information about other characters and story plot, please check https://www.chiikawaofficial.com/ for some references. In later motivational analysis, I will also include some plot and character introduction.

How fun! I look forward to learning more about your interpretation of Chiikawa's goal-journey!
